Monster Hunter Outlanders launches on October 29, 2026. As a gacha game, every player will naturally want to start with the best possible account. Monster Hunter Outlanders at launch will have a roster of thirteen playable characters, and not all of them are equally strong in the current meta. This Monster Hunter Outlanders reroll guide will help you understand if your current pulls make your account worth keeping or starting over.

How to Reroll in Monster Hunter Outlanders?

Rerolling in any gacha works pretty much in the same manner. However, before you can reroll in Monster Hunter Outlanders, you will need to unlock the Recruitment banners, which happen around 30-40 minutes into the game during the “Where Adventurers Gather” mission. Once you have unlocked the mission, here is how to reroll in Monster Hunter Outlanders:

• Log out of your current account through settings
• Select the Google/alternate login again to sign in
• Start the process of reaching the mission again

The reason I didn’t recommend that you use the guest login is that, in that way, you won’t be able to enjoy the pre-registration milestones. This also means you will miss out on most of the pulls.

All Available Pulls at Monster Hunter Outlanders Launch

At the time when you unlock Recruitment banners in Monster Hunter Outlanders, you will roughly have the following gacha currency:

• 200 Ruta Coins (from MHO Redeem Codes)
• 15 Standard Contracts (from Pre-registration rewards)
• Apart from this, you might roughly have 8-12 more Standard Contracts based on welcome events, rewards, and gameplay (by the time you reach the banner mission).

Should You Reroll In Monster Hunter Outlanders?

Honestly, I do not recommend rerolling in Monster Hunter Outlanders. The main reason for this is that it takes a lot of time to reach the point where you unlock the recruitment banners in the game. Apart from this, another reason is that most of the pulls you get during the initial gameplay are Standard Contracts, and since these cannot be used on the Featured banner, it is better to grind for the Featured Contracts rather than wasting your time rerolling.

Which Banner to Pull on For Reroll in Monster Hunter Outlanders?

If you make up your mind that you want to reroll, or if you just continue with that account, you are still left with a decision on which Monster Hunter Outlanders banner you should pull since there will be four banners active at the time of launch.

At the time of launch, the best banner to pull on (apart from the limited one) is the Beginner Recruitment Banner. You will get a guaranteed SSR within the first 50 pulls, and since the banner offers a 20% discount, that means you will be able to get this reward within 40 pulls.

If you are lucky and pull an SSR character before reaching 40 pulls, do not reroll at any cost! However, if you are not blessed by the Gacha Gods and you pull the SSR character on the 40th pull, then you will have two decisions:

• Start a new account again (however, reaching 40 pulls will take 2 days, so you will lose around 2 days of grind).
• Keep this account

Best Characters to Reroll for in Monster Hunter Outlanders

If you decide to reroll, you should know which characters are best to reroll for in Monster Hunter Outlanders. This section is based on CBT3, and a few characters weren’t available in CBT3, so I haven’t added them to the list:

Luka

Luka is the best F2P DPS Adventurer in Monster Hunter Outlanders and, in some cases, he even outperforms the Fated Adventurer. However, the main decision is whether you are looking at a good start or if you prefer the character pool. Reason being, Luka is a free adventurer you will get through the event, so you will be getting him anyway; however, that will take a week. But if you want a strong start and you can pull Luka early, that should be your reroll target!

Arkaya and Pepper

I didn’t mention Pyro in this section for the same reason as above: Pyro is available for free through progression. So Arkaya and Pepper are the most obvious targets after that. In my opinion, both are decent and have opposite playstyles, so it will come down to your preference.
