Monster Hunter Outlanders Banner Schedule: Current & Upcoming

Monster Hunter Outlanders is a Gacha game that features a roster of Adventurers. You can get these characters in various ways, with the primary way being pulling on the Banners. The game hasn’t been released yet and is scheduled to launch on October 29, 2026. Therefore, this Monster Hunter Outlanders banner schedule is based on CBT3. Once the game goes live, I will update this guide with the latest information.

Maple Echoes (Midori Banner)

Monster Hunter Outlanders CBT3 featured two limited-time banners. The first was Midori’s limited banner, called “Maple Echoes,” which was available at the start of CBT3. It was followed by Freya’s limited banner, called “Crimson Authority.” If this pattern continues during the official launch, Midori will be the first featured character in Monster Hunter Outlanders.

Midori is an Assault-class adventurer who uses the Long Sword and specializes in the Fire element. A single pull on a limited-time banner costs either 160 Ruta Coins or one Featured Contract. The hard pity for the featured banner is at 120 pulls.

Standard Monster Hunter Outlanders Banner

Apart from the featured banner, Monster Hunter Outlanders also has a Standard banner that is always active and never expires. All SSR adventurers are available on this banner, with a base probability of 0.6% for an SSR adventurer. This probability is evenly distributed among all available SSR adventurers.

The hard pity for the Standard banner is 90 pulls, meaning you are guaranteed an SSR adventurer within 90 pulls.

A single pull on the Standard banner costs either 160 Ruta Coins or one Standard Contract.

After making 300 pulls on the Standard banner for the first time, you will receive a Standard SSR Adventurer Chest. This allows you to choose one of the five available characters. Here are all five characters:

Which Character Should You Choose in the Standard SSR Adventurer Chest?

Since the game hasn’t been released yet, choosing the best character will involve some theorycrafting. For now, I recommend picking the character whose weapon you prefer or whose gameplay appeals to you the most.

Beginner Recruitment Banner

Apart from the Standard and featured banners, Monster Hunter Outlanders also has a Beginner Recruitment Banner that works similarly to beginner banners in other gacha games.

This banner features five SSR characters in its pool, with a 0.6% probability of obtaining an SSR adventurer. The hard pity is 50 pulls, meaning you are guaranteed one of the available SSR adventurers within 50 pulls.

The banner also offers a 20% discount on pulls, so you only need eight Standard Contracts for a 10-pull. Here is a list of all the characters available on the Beginner Recruitment Banner:

Upcoming Monster Hunter Outlanders Banner

I expect Midori to be featured on the first limited-time banner at launch. If that happens, there is a good chance that Freya will be the second limited-time character featured in Monster Hunter Outlanders. However, this has not been confirmed, and I will update this section when more information becomes available.
