All Neverness to Everness Characters: Rarity, Attributes & Roles

NTE currently has 22 playable characters across two rarities (S and A rank) and six attributes. Apart from rarities and attributes, NTE also has three different combat roles. This guide covers the entire NTE roster, along with upcoming characters.

All S-Rank Characters in NTE

S-Rank is the highest rarity in NTE. Most of these characters are obtained through limited time banner, however, a few were also given out at launch through the Standard Selector box and banner.

All A-Rank Characters in NTE

A-Rank characters in NTE are easily available through standard banners, and most of them can be obtained for free by levelling up. However, just because they are of lower rarity does not mean they are bad characters; some of these characters, such as Haniel, are among the best characters in NTE in the current meta.

Upcoming NTE Characters

Two characters have been confirmed but are not yet playable.

• Akane Rin and Blackbird have both made it to the drip marketing, and they were posted on the official Twitter handle. I expect both characters to be featured in Version 1.4, Phases 1 & 2. Akane is confirmed to be a Lakshana character, while Blackbird is a Psyche character.

Apart from these two confirmed characters there are two other characters that have been teased:

• Nitsa is expected to join the roster after Rin and Blackbird. She is an ally to the Eibon team; however, there hasn’t been any official information about her role or attributes.
• Elyms is the lieutenant of ETD-6 and received an updated character design reveal during the Version 1.2 developer livestream.

All Roles in NTE

Every character in NTE, regardless of their rarity, has of the three combat roles. This is the primary classification by the game; however it is not always how the characters might be used.

All Attributes in NTE

There are six attributes in Neverness to Everness. Every character and every enemy is assigned one of these attributes. These attributes can trigger element reactions when chained together. Building a team with attributes that chain well together is the core pillar of team construction.

Arc Compatibility

Apart from rarity and element there is one more category that can be used to classify an NTE character. A character in NTE can be categorised based on their Arc compatibility. In simpler terms arcs are the equivalent of weapons in other gacha games. Currently there are 5 types of arc in NTE:
