Marvel Rivals Upcoming and Leaked Characters

Marvel Rivals launched in December 2024 with 33 playable characters. Ever since the launch, NetEase has steadily expanded the roster by introducing new heroes across multiple seasons. As of October 2026, the game has 54 playable characters, with Gorr the God Butcher being the latest addition in Season 10, along with his ranked rewards.

With so many Marvel superheroes and villains to choose from, there are plenty of characters players would love to see join the game. So, here’s a list of all upcoming Marvel Rivals characters, including those officially teased by the developers and others revealed through leaks.

Upcoming Marvel Rivals Characters

NetEase usually teases new characters through in-game gallery cards, Easter eggs in the maps, or dialogues. So this section will only have characters who have been teased in one of the ways above. Here is a list of all the upcoming Marvel Rivals Characters

Nightcrawler

Nightcrawler is probably expected to be the next character coming to Marvel Rivals with the launch of Season 11. I expected Nightcrawler to be a part of season 10, however devs announced that they will only be releasing one character in Season 10 which was Gorr. However, they did say, they will move back to the two characters/per season.

Nightcrawler was initially leaked by a credible MR leaker named X0X_LEAK. However, at that time it was just a leak, but after the release of Season 10, the gallery card named “Doomsday Is Near” released in the season shows Moon Girl holding a sword that resembles the Hopesword, which is one of the weapons Nightcrawler has. This might just be a hint that Nightcrawler will be making his way to Season 11.

Green Goblin

In the same gallery card mentioned above, on the table there is a Bat symbol kind of throwable. Well, it is pretty obvious that it should belong to Green Goblin. Although Green Goblin is famous for his exploding Pumpkin Bomb, he also possesses various other throwables, one of which is Razor Bats.

Now, anyone unfamiliar with the comics and who has only seen the movies might be confused because the Razor Bats shown in the movies and the one on the gallery card don’t match. However, the ones in the comics are bat-shaped and quite similar to the one shown in the card. Alternatively, the Goblin Glider in the comics is bat-shaped so the symbol might refer to the Goblin Glider as well.

But I feel it is quite unlikely that Green Goblin will be an upcoming character in Season 11/Season 11.5. He might join the roster after that but for now I feel some other characters have a higher chance such as Doctor Doom and Nightcrawler.

Doctor Doom

Doctor Doom seems like a really strong contender to join the Marvel Rivals roster in season 11.5. Since 11.5 will probably release in December 2026, which is really close to the global release of the next Marvel movie, Avengers: Doomsday. Considering NetEase has been running the Path to Doomsday event for a few seasons now, with the current one being Infinity Wars, it is highly likely Doctor Doom might be a new addition. There haven’t been any specific leaks about him, so this is solely based on an assumption. If he does arrive in season 11.5, he will probably be a Vanguard character.

Apart from these three characters, there have been some characters who have featured as the antagonist in previous seasons, or have been referenced in a dialogue:

• Howard The Duck (Voice Lines)
• Dracula (Voice Lines): Was featured as a central antagonist in Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, and also was featured as a boss fight in Bloodhunt PvE mode.
• Dazzler (Voice Lines)

Leaked Marvel Rivals Characters

This is a list of leaked Marvel Rivals characters that have been leaked through data miners but haven’t been teased in-game or in any other way.

Previously, Professor X was also a leaked character; however his file ID was taken over by Deadpool, which makes it highly unlikely that he will join the game anytime soon. Professor X is not the only leaked character whose ID was changed to some other character, there are a few and almost all of them except Nightcrawler are in the game currently. Here is a list:

When is the Next Marvel Rivals Character Coming?

NetEase follows a two-character-per-season schedule, however season 10 was an exception to it. The next Marvel Rivals character will be releasing on November 11, 2026 as that’s the confirmed date for next season. The expected schedule is as follows:

• November 11, 2026: Nightcrawler
• December 2026: Doctor Doom/Green Goblin
