CZN Rossweisse Build Best Cards, Teams, and Memory Fragments

Rossweisse is a 5-star Justice Striker from the Wanderer faction in Chaos Zero Nightmare. She was released on October 21, 2026, as the game’s first anniversary character. She is a seasonal character and is only available through her limited CZN Banner.

Her kit is built around one simple loop: splitting Flicker Blade into Shard: Light and Shard: Dark at the start of every turn, stacking Sword Tassels as Bind cards throughout the turn, and coalescing everything back into a single devastating Equilux nuke.

The more Sword Tassels you build, the harder Flicker Blade hits. Everything in her deck exists to support that one payoff. Here is a complete CZN Rossweisse Build covering her best epiphanies, memory fragments and team compositions.

How to Get Rossweisse

Rossweisse is a limited Seasonal Combatant available through her rate-up banner starting October 21, 2026. She won’t return to the standard banner pool after her rate-up ends. A future rerun would be the only other opportunity to obtain her. Her signature partner, Sig, is also seasonal and follows the same limited-availability rules.

Best Team Compositions for Rossweisse

Rossweisse’s ideal team needs three things: a way to multiply the damage of her Flicker Blade nuke, a source of AP and draw to keep her turn flowing, and at least one character who can stack Bind cards or trigger the new Snowflake of Our First Meeting memory fragment for the team

Best Rossweisse Build and Cards

Rossweisse’s deck is built around one principle: maximize Sword Tassel count before Flicker Blade activates. Every card in the deck either generates Tassels, boosts the damage of the Equilux nuke, or keeps the hand flowing. The target is 18 to 20 Sword Tassels, which translates to 1,440 to 1,600% additional base damage on Flicker Blade.

Kyrken’s Apostle is the foundation of every Rossweisse deck without exception. It is a 0-cost Initiation card that draws 2 cards at battle start and grants Kyrken’s Aegis, a permanent effect that increases Damage Amount of Rossweisse’s Attack Cards by 15% and final Damage Amount of Flicker Blade by 20%. Since it activates at the start of battle and costs nothing, there is never a reason to cut it. At E1, Aegis increases from 15% to 30% Attack Card Damage and 20% to 25% Flicker Blade final damage, and the card also generates 1 AP.

Flicker Blade V (Unbound) is the recommended epiphany. At X-cost with +120% base Damage Amount per AP spent, it already outdamages every other Flicker Blade version at just 2 AP. The Unbound variant’s Shard cards (Light/Unbound and Dark/Unbound) trigger when AP is gained through an ability and when any 1-cost or higher card is activated respectively, making them among the easiest Shard variants to activate consistently. The Finale tag means Flicker Blade ends the turn when played, so it is always the last card in your sequence.

Radiant Sword Flow IV (Unique) increases Rossweisse’s Damage Amount by 15% for each Justice card in hand for 1 turn, up to a maximum of 75%. Reaching 75% is more straightforward than it sounds. Flicker Blade splits into two Shard cards (both Justice) at the start of the turn, Sword Tassels are Justice Bind cards, and Radiant Sword Flow itself is a Justice card. Having five Justice cards in hand to reach the cap is achievable in most rotations.

Blade of the Cycle applies Brand of the Cycle, a debuff that increases the damage Rossweisse’s target takes. The number of stacks matters less the later in the turn you play it, since fewer subsequent cards will benefit from it. Playing it mid-rotation rather than at the end gives more of your remaining cards the benefit of the debuff. Among the epiphany options, any version that generates additional Sword Tassels via the Purity condition or draws a card of this unit is worth considering.

Sword Resonance is the primary copy target. Its base version creates 3 Sword Tassels and on most epiphanies either activates a random Light or Dark card’s effect or draws a card of this unit. With Sword Resonance I, playing it also activates the effect of 1 random Light or Dark card, which itself generates 1 Sword Tassel. This effectively turns one Sword Resonance play into 4 Sword Tassels plus the Shard activation. Multiple copies compound this quickly. The recommended Divine for Sword Resonance is cost reduction by 1, since she can generate AP needs and the safer draw option helps if hand economy is tight.

Save Data Memory: The transcript recommends Memory of Loss as her best Save Data memory. When an attack skill card is stacked it gives 7% Attack to this unit (10% at mythic, stackable to 20%), and 25% Damage Amount to Justice attack cards. This is described as a near perfect fit for her kit.

Passive: Child of the Cycle

  • Increase the assigned Combatant’s Attack by 16%
  • When a Justice card of the assigned Combatant is polarized: +10% Critical Chance (cannot stack)
  • When the assigned Combatant’s Bind card is stacked, gain 1 Memory of a Past Life
  • Memory of a Past Life: +15% Critical Damage to assigned Combatant and additional +15% Critical Damage to Unique Attack Cards (cannot stack)

Ego Skill: Frail Dominion of Kyrken

  • Creates 2 Dominion Shard
  • Increases Damage Amount of the assigned Combatant’s Justice Attack Cards by 50% for 2 turns

Sig is Rossweisse’s signature partner and the only partner in the game whose passive specifically synergizes with her Flicker Blade mechanics. Polarization occurs when Flicker Blade splits into Shard:Light and Shard:Dark, which happens at the start of every turn. This means the 10% Critical Chance bonus activates automatically each turn. Sword Tassels are Bind cards that stack throughout Rossweisse’s turn, each stack generating a Memory of a Past Life which grants Critical Damage to both her general attack cards and specifically her Unique Attack Cards. Sig is a seasonal partner and follows the same limited availability rules as Rossweisse herself.

Note: Sig’s passive effects only function with Rossweisse since Flicker Blade is currently the only card in the game that can polarize or split.

Veiled Radiance is the new set released alongside Rossweisse. Rossweisse stacks Justice cards naturally through Sword Tassels and Shard card activations throughout every turn, making the 16% Crit Chance bonus effectively permanent. Combined with Executioner’s Tool’s flat 25% Crit Damage, this setup gives the best baseline stat package for her damage profile.

Slot 4Critical Chance % (first choice in 90-95% of cases)
Slot 5Justice Damage or Attack % (whichever has better sub stats)
Slot 6Attack %

The Slot 5 decision between Justice Damage and Attack % is closer than usual for Rossweisse because she already has Justice Damage % on her potential and multiple sources of Attack % are available through Sig, partners, and gear. Neither is a clear winner — go with whichever piece has superior sub stats.

Sub Stat Priority

Rossweisse does not use DoT damage or extra attack damage, which keeps the sub stat list short and straightforward. This also makes perfect-sub-stat pieces more realistic to find.

TrinketSplit Design CoreRareAt the start of the turn, +8% Damage Amount to allies (3 times per battle, max 24%)Swamp of Judgment

Criticism of Discord is the primary weapon recommendation. The 18% Attack bonus is among the strongest flat attack bonuses available, and the Stress reduction on Ravage is a secondary team utility benefit. Cthulhu is also a strong weapon when it appears in Save Data runs as the 8% teamwide Attack bonus can sometimes outvalue personal stats depending on the team composition.

Crown of Corruption on the armor slot provides 10% Critical Chance specifically to her Justice Attack Cards. Combined with Veiled Radiance’s 16% Crit Chance from the memory fragment set and Sig’s 10% on polarization, Rossweisse can reach very high Crit Chance without needing to stack it on sub stats. Note that the decreased Max HP from Crown of Corruption is the tradeoff.

Overloaded Power Engine on the ring slot scales directly with Sword Tassel stacking. Reaching 10 Bind card stacks in a turn gives the full 30% Critical Damage to her Attack Cards. In a standard rotation targeting 18 to 20 Sword Tassels this threshold is cleared well before Flicker Blade is played.

Split Design Core provides a teamwide Damage Amount buff that scales over the first three turns of a fight. By turn three the full 24% multiplicative bonus is active for all allies. It is a strong option in longer fights and Save Data content. Swap for Overloaded Power Engine as the ring and use Split Design Core as the trinket for the combination recommended above.

Best Stopping Points:

E1 is the most immediately impactful dupe and one of the easiest to obtain. Making Kyrken’s Apostle generate 1 AP turns it into a 0-cost draw 2 AP generator, effectively giving Rossweisse one free AP at battle start on top of the two draw. The Aegis damage bonus jumping from 20% to 30% Attack Card Damage and 15% to 20% Flicker Blade final damage is a meaningful passive increase that applies to every turn of every fight.

E2 is the second priority. The 20% final damage bonus at battle start is clean and unconditional. More importantly, 4 Blade Afterimage per turn provides 4 free Sword Tassel creations and 4 instances of 120% random damage, all triggered passively when Light or Dark cards activate. Since Shard:Light (Unbound) and Shard:Dark (Unbound) trigger on AP gain and 1-cost card activation respectively and both happen multiple times per turn, Blade Afterimage stacks burn through quickly in a normal rotation. At E2, reaching 20 Sword Tassels becomes significantly more consistent, which may allow swapping to different epiphany combinations in the deck.

E6 is the next meaningful dupe beyond E2. Blade Poised Against the Cycle at 2 stacks gives 50% final Damage Amount to Flicker Blade, which is among the strongest single dupe payoffs in the game. The hand capacity increase for Light, Dark, and Equilux cards is also a quality-of-life upgrade that removes a real constraint in the E2-era build.

E4 adds up to 40% Damage Amount through Precious Name stacks, which is respectable but requires Light and Dark card activations to build, something that already happens naturally. It is a solid upgrade but falls below E1, E2, and E6 in terms of per-dupe impact.

E3 and E5 are not stopping points. E3’s value is locked to the Ego Skill activation window and E5 is a minor stat bump. Only pursue them if you are committed to reaching E4 or E6.

Priority summary: E1 > E2 > E6 > E4. Never stop at E3 or E5.

Note on Sig vs Rossweisse pull order: Always secure Sig before going for Rossweisse dupes. A character plus their signature partner consistently provides more value than the character alone plus a dupe. Both Rossweisse and Sig are seasonal and will leave the banner pool. Omega codes from future seasons can be used to get Rossweisse dupes afterward, but Sig’s availability as a seasonal partner is time-limited.

How to Play Rossweisse

Rossweisse’s gameplay centers on one loop: build Sword Tassels during the turn and fire Flicker Blade at the end with as many stacks as possible. Every card and system in her kit feeds this loop from a different angle.

Understanding the Equilux System:

Flicker Blade is an Equilux card. At the start of every turn it splits automatically into Shard:Light and Shard:Dark, which sit in your hand with Retain. They do not count toward your hand limit in most configurations and they do not need to be played. They stay in hand and passively trigger their creation effects throughout the turn based on their activation conditions.

Shard:Light (Unbound) triggers when AP is gained through an ability. Shard:Dark (Unbound) triggers when any 1-cost or higher card is activated. Both trigger activate effects up to 2 times per turn. Each activation creates 1 Sword Tassel. From just the two Shard cards, you generate between 2 and 4 Sword Tassels passively per turn without spending a single card on them.

Sword Tassels are Bind cards with cost Ø (non-playable cards that count toward the Bind stack for partner effects). When Flicker Blade is played, every Sword Tassel in hand coalesces into it, adding +80% base Damage Amount per stack. At 20 Sword Tassels, that is 1,600% additional base damage on top of whatever Flicker Blade’s own base damage is.

Turn Structure

Kyrken’s Apostle always starts in your hand and costs 0. At battle start it draws 2 cards and grants Kyrken’s Aegis, a permanent buff that applies for the rest of the fight without needing to be re-triggered. Your opening hand is effectively already at 3 cards (the 2 drawn plus Sword Resonance or whichever card you open with). The two Shard cards are also in hand after the split, but they Retain passively without being drawn.

A clean turn looks like this: play Sword Resonance to create 3 Sword Tassels and activate a random Shard effect for 1 more, play Radiant Sword Flow V to stack the Justice Damage Amount bonus from cards in hand, play Blade of the Cycle to apply Brand of the Cycle to the target, then play Flicker Blade last. The Shards’ Retain effects also activate during this sequence since the Unbound variants trigger on AP gain and card activation respectively.

Sword Tassel Target:

The transcript recommends 18 to 20 Sword Tassels as the target before playing Flicker Blade. At 18 stacks this is 1,440% additional base damage. Reaching this with Flicker Blade Unbound at 2 AP cost, Radiant Sword Flow V’s 75% Justice card bonus, Kyrken’s Aegis, and Blade of the Cycle’s debuff active simultaneously results in very high single-hit damage. With Tiphera’s Form Upgrade multiplier timing added on top of all of this, the combined output is among the highest single-card nuke values available to a Striker.

Flicker Blade V Timing

Flicker Blade V has the Finale tag, meaning it ends the turn immediately when played. This is not a drawback — it tells you exactly where it belongs in the sequence: always last. Everything before it is setup. Play every buff card, every Tassel-generating card, and Kyrken’s White Night if you have the EP, then close with Flicker Blade.

At 2 AP spent, Flicker Blade Unbound already deals 400% + 240% = 640% base damage before any multipliers. Every additional AP beyond 2 adds another 120%, so at 5 AP it is 400% + 600% = 1,000% base, before Sword Tassels, before Radiant Sword Flow, before Kyrken’s Aegis, and before Tiphera.

Kyrken’s Apostle Rule

Never cut Kyrken’s Apostle from any Rossweisse deck. It is a 0-cost card that gives 2 free draws and a permanent 15% Attack Card Damage and 20% Flicker Blade final Damage Amount bonus that lasts the entire fight from a single card that costs nothing to play. There is no scenario where removing it gains more than keeping it.
