Epiphany Card Explanation
Ignition Slash is her best card and the most important one to build around. At its base version, it deals 400% damage, 2 Tenacity, and generates 1 AP through Efficiency at 2 cost. The key comparison when picking an epiphany is whether you want more morale generation or a guaranteed weakness attack and higher base damage.
Shock Gun is a 1-cost card that applies Shockwave and deals Tenacity damage. The base version is already solid. Epiphany I gives slightly more Tenacity damage through Efficiency. Epiphany II is the AoE option, spreading Shockwave to all enemies at 2 cost, useful in Great Rift and multi-enemy content. Epiphany III drops Shockwave entirely in exchange for 2 Tenacity and a Combo effect. Avoid Epiphany III in most builds since losing Shockwave means losing the 50% Damage Amount bonus.
Reloading is the engine card of her deck. Its base version draws 2 Lead cards of this unit at the start of the next turn, at 0 cost with a Finale tag. Epiphany II is the best version as it draws 2 of her own Lead cards and reduces their cost by 1, setting up Efficiency triggers at the start of the next turn.
Warming Up is a cost reduction and Efficiency enabler. The Retain tag means you never have to draw it in most builds since it stays in your hand at all times. Epiphany III is the smoothest option in most decks since it reduces the next card’s cost by 1 while always staying in hand through Retain, and draws a Lead Attack Card for you on Retain.
Rampage Trigger is her main damage finisher. It is a 4-hit guaranteed weakness attack card. The Destroy keyword gives it +100% Damage Amount when it is the hit that breaks the Tenacity bar or when the target is already broken. This means that on a broken target, it effectively deals 400% extra damage across all four hits.
Best Team for Anika in CZN
| Character | Explanation |
|---|---|
![]() Sereniel | Works well with Anika because she can take advantage of Ravage, while Anika’s Shockwave and Morale support can further boost her damage. |
![]() Tenebria | Works well with Anika’s Basic Attack-focused setup. |
![]() Lucas | Anika can act as an AP generator for Lucas |
![]() Chizuru | Can work with Anika, but there is a drawback when using Inhibit because it prevents Anika from gaining AP through her Efficiency effect. You need to build around this limitation. |
![]() Rita | Can be paired with Anika if you’re using a Basic Attack-focused Rita build. |
![]() Hugo |
Best Partner
Recommended: Scarlet (5-star Striker)
| Scarlet | ![]() |
|---|---|
| Class | Striker |
| Rarity | 5-star |
| EP Cost | 3 |
Passive: The Path to Mastery
- +16% Attack to the assigned Combatant
- If the assigned Combatant’s card was used just before: +15% Damage Amount to Attack Cards (max 2 stacks, removed when another Combatant’s card is used)
- Gain Focus each time 2 of the assigned Combatant’s cards are used. Focus: +20% Damage Amount to Attack Cards. Decreases by 1 when triggered, removed when another Combatant’s card is used.
Ego Skill: Binding Knot
- 250% Damage
- +10% assigned Combatant’s Attack Card damage per buff owned
Scarlet is Anika’s best partner because her passive rewards chaining the same character’s cards in sequence, which is exactly what Anika’s kit does. The 16% Attack increase is clean and unconditional, and the stacking 15% Damage Amount bonus plus Focus reward you for using two or more of Anika’s cards in a row, which in most builds you will naturally do every turn.
Free Option: Yuri (3-star Hunter)
| Yuri | ![]() |
|---|---|
| Class | Hunter |
| Rarity | 3-star |
| EP Cost | 3 |
Passive: Cantrip
- +8% Attack to assigned Combatant
- On the first shuffle: +8% damage dealt
Ego Skill: Drone Deployment
- Draw 2
Yuri is the easiest free option. The draw 2 from her Ego Skill has situational value and the passive is simple and consistent. She is not a strong partner but she works as a placeholder until Scarlet is available.
Best Memory Fragments for Anika
Recommended Setup: 2pc Executioner’s Tool + 2pc Black Wing + 2pc Healer’s Journey
| Set | Count | Effect |
|---|---|---|
![]() Executioner’s Tool | 2-PC | +25% Critical Damage |
![]() Black Wing | 2-PC | +12% Attack |
![]() Healer’s Journey | 2-PC | +12% Max HP |
This combination gives you a flat 25% Crit Damage, 12% Attack, and 12% HP . It is the most reliable baseline build since it works in every deck archetype and does not depend on specific card costs or conditions to activate.
You can get these memory fragments from:
- Executioner’s Tool: Corpses and Tools simulation.
- Black Wing: Greed and Tenacity.
- Healer’s Journey:Phase and Trace.
All three simulations unlock at Captain Level 25.

| 7 | Upgrade Unique Stats | If Attack is 500+: +10% Attack | 36x Premium Growth Stone of Order, 2x Shards of Condemnation, 80,000 Units |
Potential 7 first, since the +10% Attack at 500+ Attack is a meaningful passive boost. Then Potential 5 for Crit Chance. Then Potential 4 for signature card upgrades. Then Potential 6 for Crit Damage.
Manifest Ego
| Stage | Name | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| E1 | Sleeping Memory | Rampage Trigger: On Ravage, move from Draw Pile to hand |
| E2 | Awakening Memory | When allies activate a Lead card, gain 1 Next Turn Stampede. When allies activate a Finale card, gain 2 Next Turn Stampede. Stampede: +5% Damage Amount to ally Attack Cards, 2x that amount for Anika. Max 5 stacks, removed at end of turn |
| E3 | Vivid Memory | +3 levels to Basic Card, Common Card, and Signature Card Potentials |
| E4 | Inner Memory | Buffalo Dive: +50% Damage Amount and +1 Tenacity Damage |
| E5 | Complete Memory | +3 levels to Basic Card, Common Card, and Signature Card Potentials |
| E6 | Liberated Memory | On Ravage by allies, gain 2 Stampede and 1 AP (1 time per turn) |
Best Stopping Points:
E2 is probably the best stopping point when it comes to dupes. It gives Anika a teamwide passive damage bonus through Stampede stacks. If you are running Anika as a sub-DPS, this dupe makes the most sense. At max stacks, the team gets a 25% bonus to damage amount.
Should You Pull for Anika?
Anika is not a must-pull, as she is not a limited combatant. She will be permanently available, so you will eventually get her; on top of that, if you regularly play the game, you might end up maxing her naturally over time.
In terms of power level among other 4-stars, she sits closer to Selena and Beryl than to Casius. That still puts her in the upper range of 4-star performance, and she is capable of clearing everything in the game with proper investment.:
