How to Get Baby Nessie Companion in Fisch (Headless Horseman Quest)
The Headless Horseman Quest got added in the second update of the Fisch’s FischFright 3 update. The quest has three missions you will need to complete, and completing all three missions will reward you with the new Baby Nessie Companion in Fisch. In this guide, you will find all three missions in the Headless Horseman Quest in Fisch and how to complete them.
How to Start the Headless Horseman Quest in Fisch
To start the Headless Horseman Quest, you will first need to reach the Halloween area in Fisch. When you spawn in the game, you will probably be on Moosewood Island; from here, go towards the eastern beach and use a glider to board the Reborn Flying Dutchman.
Once you reach Caustic Hallow Island, cross the river; behind the ritual area, there is a chapel on top. The Headless Horseman is outside, so talk to him to start the quest.
How to Complete Headless Horseman Quest in Fisch
The quest is in three steps, and all three of them are quite easy, especially if you have played through the main FischFright 3 update that happened last week. Here are all the quests:
Step 1: Carry Baby Nessie out of the Chapel
Once you interact with The Headless Horseman he will give you a simple task which is divided into three steps:
- Enter the Chapel
- Pick up Baby Nessie
- Carry Baby Nessie out of the chapel
Go through the door of the Chapel, behind the Headless Horseman. Baby Nessie is standing next to the wooden crates. After you pick it up by pressing “E” both of your first two steps would have been completed by now, however to complete the task you still need to carry Baby Nessie out of the chapel.
Start moving towards the door of the chapel to head out; however, whenever you hear the loud noise, stand completely still. If you move, you get caught and sent back out. If that happens, try again until the task finishes without kicking you out.
When you are done, talk to the Horseman again, as he will reward you with 3x Frightful Caskets and 500 treats for completing this step. He will also give you your next task.
Step 2: Catch Five Mutated Fish in a Row
The second quest is to “catch five FischFright mutated fish in a row during the chapel’s flicker”. A catch only counts if you reel it in while the lights flicker. Here is how to do it:
- Step inside the chapel and go towards the chapel pond.
- Cast your rod in the chapel pond and hold the cast for a second.
- Look at the fish’s mutation. If it is not a FischFright mutation, let it go.
- If it is a FischFright mutation, wait for the light to flicker, then catch it.
- Repeat until you have five in a row. If you miss one, the count starts over.
Use an Eldritch Rod as it has a 40% chance of getting a mutated fish. Once you have caught all five fish, head out of the chapel to talk to the Headless Horseman again. This time he will give you 5 5x Frightful Caskets and 825 treats.
Step 3: Find the Horseman Again
After receiving the rewards from the previous step, you will notice he has disappeared. However, you can find him inside the chapel; therefore, head inside and interact with him. This is the last step, and he will ask you to show him a Plush Nessie, a Zombie Nessie, and a Gold Nessie. Here is how you can get each one of those:

You can get Plush Nessie in the following ways:
- Trick-or-Treating: a 0.4% chance when you pick “Treat!” and receive an Event fish.
- Beatrix’s Cauldron: a reward for reaching 470 Hex Energy.
- Frightful Caskets: a 0.033% chance when you open one.
- Spooky Cemetery admin event: a 0.5% chance from any body of water.
How to Get Zombie Nessie

Zombie Nessie is a hard fight because it has Extreme resilience and a -90% progress speed.
You catch it with a fishing rod in the Haunted Cemetery. However, to reach it, you will need to perform either the Haunted Cemetery Ritual or the Ghoul Nessie Ritual. For the best chance, fish at night during Jack-o-Moon weather with Black Licorice bait. During the Spooky Cemetery admin event, you can also catch it in any body of water at a 1% chance.
How to Get Ghoul Nessie
Ghoul Nessie Info
Ghoul Nessie is the strongest of the three. It has a -95% progress speed and a Level 3 passive block, so bring your best rod.
You catch it with a fishing rod in the Haunted Cemetery. Fish at night during Jack-o-Moon weather, and use Sour Jelly Candy as bait. During the Spooky Cemetery admin event, you can also catch it from any body of water at a 0.5% chance.
Once you have completed all these three steps, talk to Headless Horseman and you will get a Baby Nessie Companion in Fisch. Lastly, if you bring different Nessie to the Horseman again, he will give you the skin for the Baby Nessie companion as well.
